EEEEKKKK!! Windows 8 Nearly Here

This may not be everyone's cup of tea BUT Microsoft's new operating system is nearly here:

WINDOWS 8

I have done quite a bit of research on this and also completed a lot of training and i must say this does look amazing.

It can be quite daunting when a new operating system is released. Not knowing whether to stick with your current windows or bite the bullet and take the new windows out for a spin.

I must say, even though Microsoft have revamped the new windows and changed the way you navigate round your computer, it has definitely been done for the best.

Using the new Metro style live tabs you can keep up to date with things like news and weather by just having a quick glance at your start screen.

I was not sure if I would be a fan of the look and feel of windows 8 but I have been converted. Say you want to surf the Internet, you simply click the Internet tab and you are immersed in the website no start bar in the way and no address bar taking up space.

Microsoft have also made it easier to find safe trusted apps and games by having the windows store just a click away where you can find many fun and useful apps. At first I was a bit set back when I could not find a search bar to search through all the applications in the windows market. HOWEVER windows 8 has a search icon in the windows charms which is contextual and will search on either the app you have open; or if you search straight from the start screen it will search for nearly anything on your computer or search the internet.

But long story short you only need to have a quick play on windows 8 when it is released to understand what you are missing.

P.S - This blog is not even taking a pinch of the amount of new functions and features windows 8 has to offer.
